Dr. Lisa Damour, drlisadamour.com, will present at the annual BHPA Speaker Event at Balmoral Hall on February 27, 2024. The evening in the Sifton Family Theater at BH will feature a reception; a webinar with Dr. Damour's; and a panel discussion with local experts, moderated by Sunil Bridgelall.
Dr. Lisa Damour (drlisadamour.com) is the author of three New York Times bestsellers: Untangled, Under Pressure, and The Emotional Lives of Teenagers. She co-hosts the Ask Lisa podcast, works in collaboration with UNICEF, and is recognized as a thought leader by the American Psychological Association. Dr. Damour is a regular contributor to The New York Times and CBS News and the creator of Untangling 10to20, a digital library of premium content to support teens and those who care for them.
Dr. Damour will address her latest book, the Emotional Lives of Teenagers, as well as questions submitted by our community. Building on Dr. Damour's insights in the main webinar, the Panel brings together the middle/senior school Principal, school Guidance Counselor, and a leading local Clinical Psychologist to provide parents with practical strategies for supporting their children’s mental health and well-being. 
 
The panel will explore key themes from Dr. Damour’s presentation, offering further insights and advice from a local community perspective.
