Priority Projects

Donations to our Sustainability Fund further enhance our commitment to decreasing our collective environmental footprint. [VIDEO] Narrated by students who helped us to launch this new fund in 2021.

Donations will support the ongoing funding of the following programs: 
  • On-campus composting program.
  • Student experiential learning (FortWhyte Alive, The Leaf, Grey and Ivy, Momenta, and more).
FUNDED SINCE FALL 2021
  • Conviron plant growth chamber
  • Bicycle racks, including a new storage locker.
  • Bicycles, helmets, and locks for boarding students to decrease the use of motor vehicles.
  • Milk machine
  • More tri-stations for waste/recycling/composting.
  • Reupholstered 20 pieces of furniture for student seating areas to reuse current furniture rather than disposing to landfill.
  • Replenished metal cutlery in the dining hall to eliminate the use of plastic cutlery.
  • Upcycling boxes for cosmetics containers
  • Upcycling boxes for disposable masks.
  • Upcycling box for pens, pencils, and markers.
We welcome ideas and suggestions for other sustainability projects that could be donor-funded!
