Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

Balmoral Hall School's Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (TIE) certificate program
provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to develop skills and prepare for a future in which adaptability, problem solving, self-advocacy and an entrepreneurial mindset are becoming increasingly critical for success.

New modules are being added frequently with each being equivalent to 10 – 20 hours of learning.

At BH, every student creates an experience tailored to their own interests, strengths, and goals.
Providing Unlimited Learning

Our modules are all co-curricular and are spaced throughout the year, allowing students the time to explore multiple.

Each module features a hands-on approach that deepens learning, increases motivation and enhances engagement. The modules are all instructed by industry leaders, whether that be instructors we already have on staff, experienced freelancers, or university/college professors.

And best of all, there's no cost for students who wish to sign up as everything in the TIE program is completely donor funded.

Expanding Your Opportunities

In addition to our TIE program resulting in provincial credits, we're excited to provide students the opportunity to document their learning and recognize success through the use of digital credentials.

These digital credentials tell the story of what a student has learned. They don’t replace traditional transcripts but enhance them. The digital badges are portable credentials, created to unlock a world of possibilities for the recognition and validation of lifelong learning. These badges are a great way to build career portfolios with evidence like uploaded documents and videos.
